Liverpool 2-1 Everton
I arrived back from holiday less than half an hour before this kick off and again with no TNT Sports I had to find a stream but they were unreliable so I settled for commentary on All Red Video.
Although I'm beginning to wonder if it was on Sky Sports after all and I missed it when I could have watched it.
Going one nil up definitely settled my post holiday blues and pre-match nerves.
I've seen the highlights but I'm looking forward to watching the full match replay.
What a great ball by Salah and a superb flick by Gravenberch to put us one nil up. I still can't believe this guy is only 23. He plays like a player in his prime at 28 or 29. What a player this lad could become.
For the second goal, what a ball from Gravenberch to set up Ekitike who is so composed with his finish to make it 2-0. He made it look so easy. What another exciting talent we have and yes I am still in love with him ha ha
Everton pulled one back through Gueye with a very good finish that stemmed from Grealish causing problems down the left wing which he had most of the game.
When that final whistle went it was a great feeling and the All Red Video commentator summed it up with a loud "The city is Red again!".
Highlights below.
