Liverpool 2-0 Aston Villa
My original match comments for this game and two others were far more detailed and in the moment but the data got lost so this is just a brief summary as I can't remember what I wrote.
Well I missed the first 20-30 minutes of this game as I struggled to find a stream.
When I did find a stream I had a good feeling about this game and when we went one up I could not see us losing this.
I've previously highlighted that we've won every game we've scored first in in the league this season and lost every game we've gone behind in.
I've been calling for Andy Robertson to start for a while now and I think we looked far more solid at the back with Robertson there and Conor Bradley also put in a good shift.
This was a much needed clean sheet to boost our defensive confidence.
It was great to see Mo Salah back in form and this game will go down as the game he became only the third Liverpool player to score 250 goals, alongside Ian Rush and Roger Hunt. What an incredible achievement.
