In my comments after the Chelsea game I expressed a desire for Arne Slot to bring in Frimpong at right back, Robertson at left back, Curtis Jones in midfield and Wirtz, Isak and Ekitike as a front three that are allowed to interchange.
To my astonishment this was what happened in Germany.
It was music to my ears and boy did it pay off.
Although we conceded early we looked like a team nobody wants to play, spearheaded by the outstanding Dominik Szoboszlai.
Injuries to Frimpong and Isak forced changes but this starting line-up for me was a glimpse of how we might play in the future.
We also looked like a team relieved from playing the pressures of the Premier League and it's long ball and low block tactics.
This game shows the quality we have and what we can do when we are set up to our strengths.
I really hope Arne Slot persists with this line-up but with injuries to Frimpong and Isak that may be thwarted for the time being.
