In memory of Diogo Jota and his brother Andre

It is always difficult to come up with the right words during times of loss.

Most importantly, our thoughts are with the family and friends of Diogo Jota and his brother Andre Silva, now and always.

I think we are all still trying to process the loss of Diogo and that is normal.

Personally I always felt Diogo was a big game changer. Every winning team needs a game changer and Diogo was one of ours, if not our best in recent times.

What a header of the ball he was for a player of his height! He was such a clinical finisher too. So clinical. I always felt when a game was teetering on the edge and we weren't making a breakthrough or finishing a game off, Diogo will make the difference.

What a player and what an incredible person. His endearing smile will always be etched in our memories and his quality on the pitch was quite simply world class.

We will miss him dearly and in so many ways, but his legacy will live on.
